Due to some changes in our organizing committee and pro-staff we needed to make some changes to the camp this year so please plan accordingly.
The good news it that the camp will be free this year and registration is not necessary. The bad news is that there will not be a 3 day event this year.
The Fly Fish Fantasy Camp will be held for one day on August 23rd. The one day event will be in a round table format. That means as you go from area to area of the camp you will watch our pro staff give demonstrations and hands on instruction, rather than workshops starting every hour. And you are free to just fish or ask a pro staff member for advice.
Also, there will be hot dogs, chips and drinks provided by the scouts for a small donation, or you are free to bring your own food. We will have a limited supply of rods and reels so if you have a rod and reel we recommend you bring them. It's best to learn on the equipment you have.
If you have already registered and paid for the camp this year you will be contacted and refunded your money.

Fly Tying Benches
The "other half" of Fly Fishing. Learn from some of the best fly tiers in the west. Spend some time with them at the vice and see how they tie and how they fish some of their most effective flies.
Regardless of what skill level you are at you can leave the benches with new fly tying skills to help you catch more and larger fish.

Casting Lanes
Our Pro-staffers will help you with your cast no matter what level you are at. Get instruction on everything form the basics, to how to get another 20 to 30 more feet in your cast, to how to make your cast more accurate.

Bug Beats
Take samples from the lakes and streams and learn to identify 100% natural fish food. Learn all the stages and life cycles and what flies to use if various water conditions and hatch stages.

Trout Behavior
Learn from our pro-staff how to become a trout predator. In this course you will learn how trout hear, see, smell and feel their world. Also learn how to read water and where to find feeding fish.

Open Fish
What would a fly fishing camp be without any fish? We have 3 lakes and a river that will be available to fish. To make it fair for the fish, we cant turn 500 people loose on the water at once so we will accommodate fishing time by reservation on site.
